About the Doctor - Dr. James T. DeBerry, Jr.
Dr. Jim has been setting the highest standards of excellence in pediatric dentistry for nearly 35 years! He earned his undergraduate degree from Tennessee Technological University, and his dental and master’s degrees from the University of Tennessee dental school.
An esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Jim is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and is an active member in many leading dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the Tennessee Dental Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Jim enjoys giving back to his community. He regularly volunteers with groups such as Animal Works, The Humane Society, the Girl Scouts and STAR Academy, and he also participates in events such as Blue Grass School silent auctions and sponsors local Little League teams. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, photography (Dr. Jim has won several ribbons for his photographs at the annual Dogwood Arts Festival!) and spending time with his wife, D. Tedda DeBerry, and his three children, two grandchildren and one “grand-dog”.
